CERES is an urban farm and sustainability hub located by the Merri Creek in East Brunswick, Melbourne. Built on a decommissioned municipal tip that was once a wasteland, today CERES is a thriving, vibrant community. CERES Organic Farm, Market, Shop, Fair Food (an organic vegie box delivery system), Cafe, Workshops and Permaculture Nursery offer new solutions and practical ways to combat climate change. They help lift the profile of riding, lobby government for investment in cycling-friendly infrastructure, promote and encourage initiatives that achieve increases in cycling and promote the benefits of riding. Spoke Media is collaborating with CPF by gathering and sharing invaluable rider data to shed new light upon riding patterns and areas in need of improved cycling infrastructure in the city of Melbourne.

Ride to Work is a year round behaviour change program that actively encourages thousands of Australians thinking of commuting by bicycle to work to start. The main date on the Ride to Work calendar is Ride to Work Day, this year being held on Wednesday 12 October. Ride to Work Day is the only nationally recognised event of its kind which provides an opportunity for workplaces to celebrate riding to work and encourages employees that don’t currently ride to start.
